Wishlist | Dahlia Fashion

Studs? Check.
Peterpan collars? Check.
Seasonal colours? Check.
I'm pretty much in love.

A few months ago, I stumbled across Dahlia which is a quirky fashion boutique with beautifully individual pieces. I found it whist stalking Caroline Flack, who incidentally, has wore a couple of their dresses. Since its creation in 2000, the online store has went from strength to strength, opening a shop in London and now being stocked in Topshop.

If, like me, you love vintage-inspired, opulent, cutsie Oxford-style clothing (is it possible to use any more adjectives?), their site is definitely worth a look. Since their prices are way out of my range, I thought I would show you my favourite pieces from their collection.

2. Burgundy Pinafore Dress
3. Black Leather Look Skater Skirt with Laser Cut Detail
4. Military Hooded Cape Jacket
5. Bat-sleeves Diamonte Blouse with Skull Buttons
6. Burgundy Studded Peter Pan Collar Dress

I am in love with these pieces- they have such taste and obvious quality. If I'm looking to make a luxury splurge in the future- I will definitely be turning to Dahlia.

Have you heard of this brand before? What's your favourite piece?

Saturday Shopping 3: Miss Selfridge

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to the third instalment of Saturday/Sunday shopping! Today's shop is Miss Selfridge and I decided to put it together after seeing the most amazing dress ever in store and online and noticing that they now have a 'Vintage Style' section on their website. It is full of chiffon blouses, peter pan collars, neutral colours and cute detailing. They should really just name the section Julianne Style and have done with it!

I always absolutely love the styles in Miss Selfridge, though I actually have very few items from there because I can't justify spending that much on clothes till I'm a working lady! But oh well, I can dream :)

So here are my favourite pieces from their Vintage Style:

collage of lace and pink tulle dress with waist tie, nude large handbag and pale pink heel bow shoes
I think I can hear a choir of angels in the distance. This dress is possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And the shoes. How pretty is this ensemble? Sadly, the dress is sold out online is almost every size, but I think is still available in store, and it also comes with a mint skirt which is equally as lovely.

cream long sleeve blouse with neck bow, nude shorts with waist bow, nude t bar heels, gold hair clasp, tan rectangular shoulder bag, nude sheer socks
This collection is so cute and pretty. I love the blouse it is so up my street and would fit into my wardrobe perfectly. Also, I'm really loving the shoes! They're really understated yet something about them is so classic and chic. I think they're really high end looking too.

I think it's fair to say I am crazy about this collection and would literally buy the whole lot if I could. Its like when your having one of those amazing dreams about a shop that stocks everything that YOU love and you're like 'Hm, must remember to go there later' :)

So yes, I need to drag myself away or I could go on and on about my love for this style forever! Bottom line: Miss Selfridge have a great Vintage Inspired Collection right now that you should definetely check out.

Have a good night!

This was meant to post yesterday but the scheduling didn't work for some reason :S Aw well here it is, a bit late :) Happy Easter! xx

Primark Purchases

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all well and are having a good week!

These are my purchases from Primark at the weekend:
white sheer long sleeve blouse
I love the chiffon blouses in Primark right now, they are exactly my style. I have wanted a white blouse for a long time and this one will be perfect tucked into shorts or jeans and will keep me really cool in summer. I think this was £10 which is pretty standard for a Primark blouse nowadays and hopefully it'll last me a while. It is quite sheer though so I'll have to wear a vest top under.
Black blouse with cream lace collar and cuffs

I think this blouse is AMAZING! It is so cute and really stylish.. The body is cotton and the sleeves are chiffon which I think is a really unusual but lovely combination. The lace collar is absolutely beautiful and very vintage/ Victorian. Unfortunately, they never had a great variety of sizes left and my size (10) wasn't available so I had to get an 8 but it actually fits fine. This was also around £10, I think it might have been £8, which I thought was pretty good as this looks more like a piece from Topshop or Miss Selfridge.

How gorgeous is this lace detailing on the collar and the sleeves?

Overall, I am really happy with these purchases. I love not going into Primark for a while then when you do there's a great new collection in. Have you found any treasures in Primark recently?

That's all from me tonight, till the weekend.
