Just a quick post tonight as I need to get back to biology!
Do you ever finish a tube of lotion, shower gel or even shampoo and know there is just that little bit more in there that you can't get to? This always seems to happen to me and I am quite resentful to throw out something that isn't quite done so when I was approaching the end of my Simple Kind To Skin Face Wash, I had a fab idea:
All you have to do is get a pair of scissors and snip off the top et voila! You get that last use that makes the product worth it!

This is the beginning of my new series of posts where every Tuesday I'll post some little tip or trick that I have read about/discovered and found it worked for me.
The key to smooth lips is EXFOLIATING and MOISTURING. I have found that the easiest way to fit exfoliating my lips into my daily routine which doesn't involve complicated treatments or even a lip scrub is to brush your lips whilst brushing your teeth (well not whilst as that would be pretty difficult but just after). This will not only take away all the dead skin that makes your lips rough but will improve circulation too.
In addition, once a day I apply 'Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm' just before I dash out the door to keep my lips moisturised. I have Vaseline and Carmex as back ups but I actually like this best as its a stick form (meaning less germs than using finger-application) and it doesn't slide off easily.
This extremely simple routine keeps my lips super smooth and ready for lipstick application. I even found that this winter my lips weren't chapped or dry like they usually are.
